There are so many more aches, pains, ailments, and conditions that can be diagnosed and helped with a visit to Chiropractic Care Center. A few conditions the chiropractic practice helps includes: colic, learning disabilities, fibromyalgia, ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, allergies, and insomnia.
Dr. Ames has stated that her mission is to search for the root of causes rather than simply masking the symptoms with medication. For example, those who have fibromyalgia or irritable bowel syndrome often have symptoms that may be caused by food allergies. Further, patients with ADD/ADHD can be helped with alternatives to prescribed drugs such as a technique called Neurolink, which works with the belief that the brain should be evaluated like a computer which controls your body. Any disconnections with the signals between your brain and body will result in imbalances which can cause different symptoms. Dr. Ames states that it is so rewarding using Neurolink to help change the lives of children who have struggled with learning disabilities and ADD, who without medication, are now successful in school.
In addition, Dr. Ames and her associates work to correct the damage caused by a disease or condition. For instance, patients with gluten intolerance may learn to avoid the food, but the digestive system damaged from years of irritation needs to be repaired through a nutritional protocol to become healthy and function normally again. Patients who have had several rounds of antibiotics must reinoculate their system with the proper probiotics in order to re-establish their immune system.
“We are often the last resort for patients who come to us after having several tests done, only to be told there is nothing wrong with them,” Dr. Ames said, “We utilize different evaluations to help determine if their symptoms are being caused by a particular food, neurological disorganization, nutritional deficiency or other imbalances that have not been detected from standard tests.”
The doctors are continually attending educational seminars, classes, and programs to make sure they are staying at the cutting edge of developments in their fields and are able to do the best job they can to heal their patients and arm them against any future issues.

At 12 years old, Dr. Alli started to receive chiropractic care. She never realized the impact the chiropractic visits would have on her life. Not only did chiropractic benefit her life in the short term, but also it intrigued her enough to pursue it as a career–specializing in Neurolink. She hoped to help others just as she had been helped with Neurolink and had peace claiming chiropractic as her calling.
Dr. Alli attended Eastern Illinois University, receiving a Bachelor's in Science. She began to work on her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Logan University in 2014 and recently graduated December 2017.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Alli on the team.
